This season felt like coming back to a familiar place. The quiet moments between Mel and Jack were the heart of it all. Their journey through pregnancy and past secrets felt real and tender. The town of Virgin River still has that cozy, comforting feel, like a warm blanket on a cold day. Some of the drama felt a bit forced, and you can see the patterns from past seasons repeating. But the emotional payoff for characters we've grown with over seven seasons was satisfying. It's not trying to be anything new or bold, just a gentle, heartfelt story about love and community in a beautiful setting. For what it is, it works.
