The pacing was relentless and the action sequences were technically impressive. However, I found the political narrative overly simplistic. The three-and-a-half hour runtime felt excessive for what was essentially a revenge fantasy dressed up as geopolitical commentary. While the box office numbers speak for themselves commercially, the film lacked the intellectual depth I look for in political dramas. The mafia intrigue was engaging but felt derivative at times.

The script is tight and the pacing maintains that signature Peaky Blinders tension. Historical accuracy feels solid for a crime drama set in WWII Birmingham. Cillian Murphy delivers as expected, though some of the new casting choices feel a bit forced. Overall, a worthy continuation of the Shelby saga.
