This movie was intense. Like trauma on screen but in a good way? Needed coffee after watching this. The medical stuff with Parima after the assault actually felt real, which is rare. Usually movies mess up the recovery timeline or make injuries look fake. This one got it right. The courtroom scenes were brutal but honest. Taapsee killed it as the lawyer, you could feel her frustration with the system. Honestly this film was heavy but important. It stayed with me for days. Not easy to watch but shouldn't be easy either. That's the whole point.

Okay, so this movie gave me some major trauma flashbacks. Neve Campbell was amazing as Sidney, and watching her protect her daughter gave me all the feels. The Ghostface chases were super tense, and I loved the twist with Stu Macher. But I gotta say some of the stabbings were just unrealistic. Like, you can't survive that much blood loss without immediate care. Also, the new characters were boring as hell, just waiting to get killed. It was fun for the gore and Sidney's final girl energy.

I liked the creepy vibe and the winter setting, it felt cold and isolated, which worked for me. The supernatural stuff was interesting, and I actually got into the whole family history thing. But seriously, the gore was way too much. Like, I watch horror to unwind, not to get extra trauma for med school. The violence on kids was just... no. I get it's horror, but it felt excessive. Also, the medical inaccuracies were bugging me, but I guess that's just the med student in me. Overall, it was decent, but not something I'd rewatch.
