A fun one-time watch with good humor and well-done exposition, though some scenes feel lengthy and the horror elements don't fully land. The film builds anticipation but doesn't deliver a satisfying payoff, leaning more toward Kartik Aaryan's Bhool Bhulaiyaa than Akshay Kumar's version.

The haveli setting was absolutely grand and beautiful. I loved all the wedding preparations and family moments in the story. It's decent, not bad, but could have been much better.

The setup had potential with the haunted haveli and disappearing brides legend. First half builds decent unease with the eerie location and eccentric locals. Production design is impressive, and the mythology elements from Vedas and Mahabharata are interesting.
But the runtime feels excessive at nearly three hours. The second half shifts abruptly from horror to comedy, and the humor mostly falls flat. Twists become predictable early on, and the climax feels stretched.
Overall, it's watchable for nostalgia with the Priyadarshan-Akshay reunion, but the hotchpotch story and forced logic hold it back. Commercial success makes sense for mass appeal, but as a film, it's decent yet underwhelming.

The first half was actually pretty decent with some spooky moments in that haunted haveli. The setup with the disappearing brides legend had potential. But man, this movie is way too long at nearly three hours. The second half completely shifts tone into comedy that just doesn't work most of the time. The cast is great but feels wasted, especially Tabu and Paresh Rawal. The plot has some smart ideas about curses and black magic from mythology, but the execution gets messy. It's watchable for the nostalgia of seeing Priyadarshan and Akshay Kumar together again, but overall feels like a missed opportunity. Could have been much scarier and tighter.

Akshay Kumar is back with Priyadarshan, so I had to watch it. The first half was fun with some spooky laughs, and the haveli looked amazing. But man, this movie is way too long. Almost three hours is too much. I stopped laughing after the first hour. Akshay bhai was good as always, but even he couldn't save the stretched climax. The story had some smart ideas with curses and black magic, but the twists were predictable. Overall, decent timepass for Akshay fans, but not as funny as I hoped. Could have been much better with shorter runtime and better jokes.

This movie had all the right supernatural elements on paper - a cursed haveli, black magic, disappearing brides, and dark legends. The first half actually delivered that eerie vibe I live for. The haunted mansion setting was perfect with all those ghostly whispers and cursed history.
But then it completely lost its bite in the second half. The shift to comedy felt forced and the humor just didn't land for me. I wanted more of that supernatural tension, more of the curse playing out, more chemistry between the characters dealing with the haunting.
The mythology from the Vedas was actually pretty cool though. The whole demon and nymph backstory had potential. But they stretched the climax way too long and the twists were predictable. Tabu and Paresh Rawal were totally underused which was such a waste.
As a supernatural fan, I appreciated the setup but wanted more darkness, less comedy. The curse concept was there but execution felt hotchpotch. Watchable for the haunted mansion vibes but forgettable overall.

This movie had some fun moments in the first half. The haunted haveli setup was cool and Akshay Kumar was decent. But man, it got way too long. The second half turned into a comedy that just didn't work for me. The twists were pretty obvious too. Felt like they had a good idea but stretched it out too much. Watchable for some laughs but nothing special.
