Dhurandhar delivers exactly what I look for in a film - high-stakes action with serious production value. Ranveer Singh owns the screen with that magnetic energy that makes you invest in every scene. The Karachi undercover sequences had that Bond-level tension I love. Yes, there's violence, but it's stylish violence, not just mindless bloodshed. The length didn't bother me at all because the pacing kept me engaged throughout. Akshaye Khanna was perfectly icy as the villain - you could feel the menace. Some might call it extreme, but I saw it as pure entertainment with a sharp aesthetic. This is the kind of cinema that justifies the big screen experience.

I wanted to appreciate the cinematic craft here. The palette is striking and Aditya Dhar's aesthetic is undeniable. Ranveer Singh brings a raw, magnetic vulnerability to his role that is genuinely compelling. However, the relentless bloodbath and hypermasculine focus on weaponry and brutality overshadow any nuance. The story's propagandistic leanings and jingoistic fantasy elements left me cold. For all its visual execution, it felt like a farce, trading thoughtful drama for mindless spectacle. I stayed for the performances but left feeling utterly drained by the violence.

The pacing is grueling at over three and a half hours. The script leans heavily into extreme fantasy, sacrificing any semblance of historical accuracy. Akshay Khanna's performance is admittedly magnetic, but the relentless violence and bloodbath become a farce. It feels like a bureaucratic mess of a narrative trying to be an epic.

first of all Ranveer Singh was literally giving his everything in this movie like the intensity was chef's kiss 👌✨ But girl the movie was SO LONG like 214 minutes?? My attention span could never 😭 The action scenes were raw and everything but sometimes it felt like too much violence?? Like I had to look away a couple times 🥺 The chemistry between characters was kinda missing ngl like where's the romance?? Just pure gore and politics which got boring after a point 💀 The ending was emotional tho when Hamza completes his mission and all that patriotic vibe was giving me chills 🦋 Overall it's a slay for Ranveer's performance but the pacing and length are major red flags 🚩 Could've been so much better with some cute moments ya know? Still worth watching once for the thrill but bring snacks and patience fr.

Look the cgi is decent, especially the night ops and drone surveillance shots — you can see the budget was spent smart. But bro, 214 minutes? Who asked for this? Hamza goes full joker mode in lyari, fine, okay, suspension of disbelief, but then they drag in random political commentary like it's a rajniti lecture. akshaye khanna is solid, no cap, but ranveer's 'undercover' act feels like method acting gone wrong. half the time i couldn't tell if he was infiltrating terrorists or auditioning for kumbh mela. action sequences? raw, sure, but half of them are just torture with bgm. and don't get me started on the songs, bro, we're in a spy thriller, not a dholak night at gurgaon pub. logic kahan gaya? nahi pata, but it bailed mid-first act. overall, it's mid. high concept? tried. execution? half-baked. desi patriot dhadkan ke liye 4 stars, but as a techie who values clean and tighter scripts? 3/5.
