This movie was intense. Like trauma on screen but in a good way? Needed coffee after watching this. The medical stuff with Parima after the assault actually felt real, which is rare. Usually movies mess up the recovery timeline or make injuries look fake. This one got it right. The courtroom scenes were brutal but honest. Taapsee killed it as the lawyer, you could feel her frustration with the system. Honestly this film was heavy but important. It stayed with me for days. Not easy to watch but shouldn't be easy either. That's the whole point.

Assi is truly a hard-hitting film that stays with you long after it ends. The performances are absolutely brilliant. While the story gets a bit messy at times, the emotional impact is undeniable.

Assi is a really hard-hitting movie. It hits you right in the gut and doesn't let go. The performances are amazing, especially Taapsee Pannu as the lawyer and Kani Kusruti as the survivor. The courtroom scenes feel so realistic and intense. The way they show the trauma and the whole system is honestly unsettling but in a good way. Sure, the story gets a bit messy sometimes, but overall it's a powerful watch. It's not easy viewing, but it's important. Definitely stayed with me long after the credits rolled.

I just watched Assi and wow, literal chills. This movie is heavy but so important. Taapsee Pannu and Kani Kusruti were absolutely incredible, like their performances gave me goosebumps. The assault scene was so brutal and real, it made me so angry and sad at the same time. It's not an easy watch at all, but you can't look away. The drama in the courtroom was intense and kept me hooked. I loved how it showed all sides of the story, it makes you think about justice and society. Honestly, this is the kind of tea everyone needs to see, even if it's uncomfortable. It's a masterpiece but damn, it's heartbreaking.

This film hits hard. The psychological trauma portrayal is raw and unsettling. Parima's character arc shows the deep manipulation of trauma on the human mind. The courtroom scenes reveal how the system itself becomes another layer of psychological warfare. The multiple perspectives approach creates a complex mind game where everyone is damaged. The assault sequence was brutal but necessary, refusing to let you look away from the psychological destruction. Some narrative moments felt messy though, which took me out of the immersion. Still, this film stays with you long after it ends.
