The visual interface of this film is absolutely stunning. The art direction feels clean and precise, just how I like it. The cinematography has that signature Peaky Blinders aesthetic with a darker, grittier palette that works perfectly for the WWII setting. Every frame feels designed with intention. The costume design and set pieces are visually cohesive and add to the overall atmosphere. My only gripe is that some of the action sequences felt a bit too chaotic visually, breaking from the otherwise clean design language. The visual design in Hoppers is absolutely stunning. The animation interface is so clean and precise, every frame feels like a work of art. The animal kingdom world-building has this beautiful aesthetic that makes you want to pause and study every detail. The hopper technology visuals were especially well-designed. Sometimes the third act felt a bit over-the-top visually, but overall this is Pixar's best looking film in years. The color palette and environmental design perfectly support the eco-message.
