They finally gave Benedict his story, which is nice. But honestly, the adaptation feels a bit thin compared to the book. The dialogue is fine, but some of the emotional depth from the novel is missing. Sophie's character arc works, but the show simplifies the class tension a bit too much. It's enjoyable fluff, but don't expect the same resonance as the source material.

The screenplay feels lazy and formulaic, lacking any real depth in character development. The dialogue is weak, and the chemistry between the leads feels forced rather than organic. For a film centered around a wedding planner and a novelist, there's a surprising lack of meaningful metaphor or emotional payoff. It's visually stunning but narratively hollow.

The premise of using psychology to eliminate violence was interesting, but the adaptation felt shallow. Dhanush and Kriti Sanon's performances were strong, yet the character arcs were inconsistent. The writing was convoluted, with glaring contradictions, especially in the psychologist's manipulative behavior. The fragmented narrative and uneven pacing made the nearly three-hour runtime feel exhausting. Rahman's music provided emotional highs, but the core story's flaws were too significant to ignore.
