This season absolutely delivers on the dark, gritty tone Daredevil fans want. Charlie Cox is perfect as Matt Murdock, bringing that tormented hero energy from the comics. Vincent D'Onofrio as Mayor Fisk is just epic, he owns every scene. The action sequences are brutal and cinematic, exactly what you want from a Daredevil show. It stays true to the source material while expanding the stakes with Fisk as mayor. My only minor issue is the weekly release, I wanted to binge it all at once. Kohrra Season 2 is a technically solid police procedural with great cinematography and acting. The plot is twisty and the Punjabi authenticity adds grit.

Black Phone 2 was decent horror but nothing groundbreaking. The atmosphere was solid with that winter storm setting creating tension. Ethan Hawke killed it again as the Grabber, dude is legit scary. I liked how they expanded the black phone mythology and connected it to the family history. The supernatural stuff felt earned. My main issue is the violence was way too much, especially with kids involved. It felt excessive and took me out of the story sometimes. The emotional parts worked though, especially the mom reveal at the end. As a comic fan, I appreciate dark tones but this was just graph.....

This movie feels like a cheap cash grab on a sitcom that should have stayed on TV. The humor is dated and unfunny, full of toilet jokes and philandering husband tropes that were already tired a decade ago. This light-hearted chaos-comedy just doesn't work. The horror-comedy twist was completely unnecessary and the multiple post-climaxes felt desperate. Maybe it's fine for fans who want nostalgic laughs, but as someone who values source material and coherent storytelling, this was a miss. The cast tried their best, but the weak screenplay let them down.

Mardaani 3 is a decent crime thriller, but it's just okay. Rani Mukerji is convincing as Shivani, she brings that badass energy we expect from the franchise. The theme is relevant and heavy, tackling child trafficking and begging mafia, which gives it a serious tone I can appreciate. But honestly, the story is super predictable. You can see the twists coming a mile away. The plot has too many holes, like how do the bad guys just walk into her house? It felt lazy.

The Night Agent Season 3 drops Peter into Istanbul, and the action starts strong. It feels cinematic, like a good spy thriller comic arc. The dark money conspiracy has potential, but I'm waiting to see if it holds up over ten episodes without getting predictable. The production value is high, and the new stakes with the White House crisis add fresh layers. Still, some plot points feel a bit too convenient, like a plot device from the source material being stretched. It's a solid ride so far, but needs to stick the landing to be a real canon entry for the series.

Dhurandhar is trying way too hard to be this dark epic. Ranveer Singh gives it his all and honestly he's magnetic, but the whole thing feels like a hypermasculine fantasy that's a bit much. I mean, I like dark tones and gritty heroes, but this crosses into pure jingoism sometimes. The action is solid and keeps you hooked for the whole runtime, which is saying something for a 3.5 hour movie. Akshaye Khanna is ice cold and perfect.
