Synopsis
A young programmer, Elliot, suffers from a debilitating anti-social disorder and decides that he can only connect to people by hacking them. He wields his skills as a weapon to protect the people that he cares about. Elliot finds himself in the intersection between a cybersecurity firm he works for and the underworld organizations that are recruiting him to bring down corporate America.

Mr Robot is legit one of the most cerebral shows I've seen. The hacking scenes? Zero plot holes, they actually make sense. You can tell the writers did their homework. CGI is minimal but effective, not flashy like some Bollywood crap trying to flex vfx budget. Elliot's internal monologues are peak writing, dark, raw, and painfully logical. The whole surveillance capitalism theme hits different in 2024. The only reason it's not a 5 is that season 3 went a bit off the rails with the fsociety nonsense. Still, top tier for a tech bro like me. not mid at all.
